Job details
Full job description
At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical problems for thriving cities, resilient environments, mission-critical outcomes, operational advancement, scientific discovery and cutting-edge manufacturing, turning abstract ideas into realities that transform the world for good.
Jacobs is a key delivery partner on the Regional Hospital Redevelopment Programme, a landmark initiative that will transform healthcare outcomes and community wellbeing across New Zealand.
We are seeking talented Structural Engineers of all levels with a passion for seismic design, resilience and complex building structures. This is a unique opportunity to help deliver the next generation of healthcare facilities across New Zealand, creating essential infrastructure that communities will rely on for decades to come.
Working as part of multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to the delivery of large-scale, technically complex healthcare projects. We're particularly interested in engineers who enjoy the technical side of structural engineering and want to remain close to the design. From structural analysis, calculations and seismic design through to developing innovative engineering solutions, you'll play a key role in delivering resilient, future-ready healthcare facilities that support New Zealand's long-term needs.
While we are particularly interested in connecting with professionals based in Auckland, we are also open to hearing from candidates in Wellington, Christchurch and Hawke's Bay.
- Experience delivering building structures projects across healthcare, education, commercial, data centres, water, transport or other complex infrastructure sectors
- Strong structural design and engineering expertise, from concept design through to detailed delivery
- Experience designing seismic-resistant and resilient structures within the New Zealand environment
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status, or eligibility and aspirations to achieve chartership is desired.
- A passion for technical excellence and creating positive community outcomes
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within integrated project teams
Whether you're actively considering your next move or simply open to a confidential conversation, we'd love to connect and share more about the opportunities available at Jacobs.
