Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Operations Support Administrator to join our Operations Support team, on a permanent part time basis (20 hours per week). This varied role provides national administrative support and helps coordinate contracts, trusts and funds, financial processes, reporting and supplier relationships.
You will work closely with the Operations Support Manager and colleagues across the organisation to deliver consistent, accurate and efficient services. Your work will support an organisation that helps people who are blind, deafblind or have low vision live independently and pursue the things that matter to them. You will:
- Monitor and respond to enquiries received through shared email channels, managing at first point and escalating where necessary.
- Coordinate national contracts and maintain accurate contract information.
- Process applications, invoices and reporting for trusts and funds, in a timely and efficient way.
- Support monthly financial reporting, investigate discrepancies and identify opportunities for savings.
- Maintain clear procedures, records and intranet information.
- Build effective relationships with colleagues, applicants, suppliers, trusts and funders.
- Provide responsive general administration and contribute to continuous improvement.
Ko wai koe | About you
You are a capable administrator who enjoys bringing order to complexity, supporting others and improving the way work gets done. You have:
- At least two years’ administration experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office and customer service capability - experience with a CRM is an advantage, preferably Salesforce.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound judgement, discretion and confidence handling confidential information.
- Strong planning, time management and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, stay accurate and follow through.
- A collaborative, adaptable and improvement-focused approach.
