Operations Supervisor – Toll Group (Australia)
Toll Group is a global logistics and supply chain company providing freight, warehousing, transportation, and distribution services across multiple industries. We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to support the efficient management of our logistics and warehouse operations.
About the Role
As an Operations Supervisor, you will oversee daily transport, warehouse, and distribution activities, ensuring operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with customer service and performance expectations. You will lead operational teams, coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily transport, warehouse, and distribution operations.
Coordinate freight movements, deliveries, and dispatch schedules.
Lead, support, and develop warehouse and operational staff.
Allocate workloads and monitor team performance.
Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports.
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and company policies.
Manage customer service issues and operational escalations.
Support workforce planning, resource allocation, and cost control.
Skills & Requirements
Experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, or supply chain operations.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
Good computer and reporting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
