Job details
Full job description
Position Description
The Strategy Analyst is designed for high-potential talent who want to accelerate their development and build the skills needed to become future leaders within the Co-op.
Working alongside Fonterra’s most senior leaders, you'll gain exposure to the Co-op’s strategic priorities, helping solve complex business challenges while developing a deep understanding of how the Co-op operates. This role offers a unique apprenticeship-style experience, combining hands-on project work, coaching, and broad business exposure.
If you're a few years into your career and ready to accelerate, this is an opportunity to build a strategy toolkit that will set you up for future leadership roles across the organisation.
About You | Mōu
You're intellectually curious, highly motivated, and enjoy solving complex problems. You bring a growth mindset, seek out feedback, and are excited by the opportunity to learn from a wide range of leaders and stakeholders.
You don't need to have a traditional strategy background, but you'll have demonstrated strong analytical capability, commercial instinct, ambition, and the drive to make an impact.
You will bring:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commercial acumen and a genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability
- The ability to work through ambiguity and adapt quickly
- Curiosity, resilience, and a desire to learn
- A collaborative approach with a low-ego mindset
- A genuine interest in the Co-op and its future direction
Our selection process includes case exercises, so we can see how you approach and solve problems.
- Fair and equitable pay
- Health and well-being programs (medical, mental health support)
- Professional development opportunities
- Career growth support
- Work-life balance options (flexible/hybrid working where possible)
- Employee recognition
- Support for community involvement and cultural connection
