The FlightsHub is expanding its digital footprint across New Zealand, Australia

and India, and we’re looking for a skilled Developer Programmer to help

shape the future of travel technology.

You’ll play a key role in delivering end-to-end digital solutions — from new

mobile and web experiences to an AI-powered travel-risk prediction platform.

Our environment is evolving quickly, with multiple initiatives running in parallel,

so adaptability, clear thinking and strong engineering judgement are essential.

You’ll join a collaborative, supportive team that values knowledge-sharing,

Balancing speed, quality and reliability is central to this role, and you’ll help

guide our digital platforms through ongoing change while keeping customer

experience at the heart of every decision.

Design, build and maintain mobile applications using native (Swift, Kotlin) or cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.

Redevelop and enhance the company websites, ensuring performance, security and seamless integration with booking systems and third-party APIs.

Lead development of an AI-driven Travel Hurdle Prediction Tool.

Build and maintain backend services, APIs and cloud-based infrastructure supporting web and mobile platforms.

Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams across NZ and India to align on technical direction and deliver new features.

● Support SEO and SMM initiatives by working closely with the marketing team to ensure technical optimisation, tracking, and platform readiness.

Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions, supporting others and lifting overall team capability.

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and modern DevOps practices.

Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and delivery approaches, ensuring scalability and long-term maintainability.

● Support digital operations across three regions, ensuring uptime, reliability and secure customer experiences.

Nāu te rourou | What you’ll bring

● 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong learning and adaptation skills. Willingness to work across Web and Mobile platforms or cross-platform frameworks.

● Proven experience delivering mobile and web solutions in environments where multiple initiatives run in parallel.

● Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC Clean Architecture, modular design).

● Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or cloud-based pipelines).

● Ability to simplify complex problems and deliver practical, customer-focused outcomes.

● Strong collaboration skills, working across teams to align on shared goals and technical direction.

● Experience integrating AI/ML tools or workflows into engineering processes is a bonus.
