Highly functional team, great knowledge and skills learnt
Laboratory/Research Assistant (Former Employee) – Hamilton East, Waikato – 20 October 2014
there isn't really a typical day that describes all the activities and skills that i have learnt at NIWA. There was a lot of field work, lab experiments, training of different lab equipment, collaborating ideas and knowledge as a team. Was the best experience gained as got to see the project all the way through till the end, and establish my name on a publication.
great experience, access to company cars, lots of opportunity to take on co-worker knowledge, researching experience
Research Technician (Current Employee) – Wellington – 4 September 2012
A variety of experiences daily. I've acquired new practical skills, useful in the business of aquaculture Unit management is excellent. Corporate management a little distant. Co-workers are the best I've experienced in my career. Hardest part of the job: Percentage of routine work. Most enjoyable - The degree of autonomy in my work.
employee benefits; flexibility ; great colleagues
current corporate philosophy - distant, formulaic, financially and not science orientated
