Unpleasant work environment.
Lab Technician (Former Employee) –  Oceanagold Macraes mine ste4 February 2018
Each day is 3 hours of travel and 12 hours of work in a very remote area. The long-term staff are unfriendly to the new people. Safety is below the clients standard.
Pros
It’s a job in the mining industry, possible employment with the client company.
Cons
Travel time, culture on the mine site.

Fast pace work schedule. Working around the clock

Remodeling grocery stores, as many as four at a time. Three day schedules with inspections on the four. Work was challenging and always used problem solving skills. Created teams and employee relationships developed into independent units. Their rewards were more then good salaries, skill development beyond the norm, personal and social respect as growing professionals. We developed as the economy changed.

Respect from Industry leaders, Employee Relationships, Short work Schedules, $$$
Cons
Travel, Motels, No Healthcare.
