This is a senior role working alongside the Insurance team where you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and success of their company. Reporting to the Chief Actuary, you will be responsible for analysing an established portfolio to ensure profitable pricing of risks and identification of potential growth segments.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and implementing best practice analytical solutions for enhanced product performance
- Developing and maintaining internal pricing and demand models
- Working with reinsurers to ensure that sufficient reinsurance is place to protect the company
- Regularly monitoring product performance and providing advice to drive profitability
To be successful in this role you must have an Insurance background, as well as a minimum of 5 years practical experience. It is expected you have tertiary qualification in Mathematics, Statistics or a Finance related field. Qualifications in Actuarial studies are highly desirable however those with near qualifications will be considered.
