The Systems Support team is responsible for supporting all MSD staff using computers nation wide. Additional to this the team provides service in the areas of IT incident management and project implementation.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised person to join the Systems Support Analysts Team. This position is responsible for providing IT user support services to the Ministry offices primarily in the Auckland area, but support across the whole Northland region in support of team members may be required. These services include fault resolution (onsite, by remote access or by phone) for PCs, laptops, printers, network and voice along with delivering work requests. You will also be responsible for IT inventory management, and move/add/change activity.
You will be someone who works well without supervision, is customer-focussed with a proactive 'can-do' attitude, has excellent time management skills and takes personal ownership for their workload.
As an outstanding performer you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, expertise in scheduling and planning skills to meet the needs of the business, excellent customer service skills and the ability to demonstrate the technical and professional requirements of the Job Competencies as outlined in the attached job description. We are looking for a real team player, someone who will contribute and work as a member of the team. Technically you will have A+ Accreditation (or relevant similar qualification).
