HP prints mail for many of NZ's well known companies. Ever wondered where your energy bill comes from? Or you mobile bill? Well, there's a high chance that HP printed it and processed it for mail distribution.
Qualifications
Whilst we won't be asking you to fold mail and place it into envelopes (that would take far too long and we have large machines to do that!), your role will be responsible for loading it into the machines and making sure that any inserts or promotional material are included and that the envelope comes out the other end looking like it should and in the order it should - bundled into post-codes. You'll then package the bundles up and send them on to be distributed.
There is some lifting involved (boxes weighing around 15kgs) and you'll be entering data into the computer so some PC skills are needed. Aside from that, it's a very processed orientated job so we need people who enjoy working to a clear set of instructions.
When the mail machines break down (and they sometimes do), we have an Engineer to fix it, so you won't have to worry about that. However, if you do have some mechanical skills, then that's always an advantage.
We are looking for 4 people - all will need to be able to perform the duties mentioned below and 2 will also need to have a forklift driver's license to help load mail in the warehouse. If you have such a licence, please make sure this is highlighted on your resume.
This is a great role in a great team environment. A car park is provided and you'll be working in our brand new building in East Tamaki.
