Software Engineers

Our client has an urgent requirement for a number of software engineers to be responsible for the design, development and

verification of software used within electronic control systems. The company is a world-leader in their field, and these

positions represent a senior level of responsibility.

General technical knowledge required:
  • Product
design and development experience, and knowledge in the area of embedded software systems.
  • A good understanding and
appreciation of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) models
  • Knowledge of, and practical experience in the use of
various programming languages commonly used in embedded systems development.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and tooling
concepts pertaining to software development, e.g., software configuration management, software anomaly resolution, build tools,

etc.
  • Knowledge of medical regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of current and best practice software design
and testing techniques and methodologies.
  • Experience in display technology, DC motor control, electronic actuator
control and wireless communications are desirable but not essential.

Candidates will be required to sit a brief

theory test as part of the initial selection process, and so must be available for such testing at our offices in either Christchurch
