With a primary goal of improved customer service, we are searching for lateral thinkers for these customer focussed roles. Customer Interaction Managers within Fonterra are the customer advocate and ultimately responsible to ensure we are abreast of the status of the customer's order book and key issues to make sure we are delivering to their expectations and adding value.
Reporting to the Customer Supply Chain Manager, the Customer Interaction Manager offers both operational and mid-term (6-12 months) strategic solutions and forward thinking for our customers. As an organised individual, your key responsibility will be to own and drive the relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the Supply Chain by championing Account Management initiatives. Leading a team of Customer Interaction Coordinators, your ability to influence and coach continuous improvement mindsets in your team will ensure on-time, in-full delivery, as well as driving resolution for complaints. At a higher level, you will be supporting the Customer Supply Chain Manager with strategic initiatives underway with our key customers and be involved in decision making to further improve customer relations and delivery performance from a proactive perspective.
To succeed in this role you will have a strong customer service and account management background and previously demonstrated influencing skills in a work environment. Your exposure to Supply Chain/ Logistics on a national level will be
advantageous. An excellent relationship builder, you will have a proven track record of leveraging off your networks to achieve results. Taking responsibility for issues until the resolution is found, it goes without saying that you understand and are able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen. Your ability to inspire and motivate change within a team will be a testament to your leadership and influencing skills.
