Pan Pac Forest Products Limited is a fully integrated forestry company including a Pulpmill, Sawmill and Drymill with value adding plant and is the largest Forest manager and wood purchaser in Hawke's Bay.
Pan Pac is based at Whirinaki 16km north of Napier and employs approximately 370 people directly and over 400 contractors.
An opportunity has arisen for a senior Human Resources professional to become part of the executive team for a wholly owned New Zealand subsidiary of The Oji Paper Company. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and oversees a team of 24 staff and contractors across a range of functions (industrial relations / union negotiations, HR, payroll, administration and contract services). The role supports the daily operations of the respective operational units and contributes to the strategic development of the company.
Essential elements to be successful in this role include:
Senior level HR Management experience
An appropriate tertiary qualification
A strong focus on industrial relations
Negotiation skills
Experience leading a team
Strategic capability
Excellent relationship management skills
