Maximizes revenues through the direction of sales managers and reps. The East Coast Sales Director will act as a key member of the USA product and services sales team and will be responsible for expanding sales and business development activities throughout the East Coast. The East Coast Sales Director will be responsible for lead generation, customer relationship development, proposal development, contract preparation and negotiation in the East Coast.
Responsibilities:-
Lead and direct sales team and oversee sales operation worldwide
Develop and implement strategic sales plans, forecasts and performance goals to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
Develop and manage sales operating budgets
Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements
Develop and recommend product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
Interface between sales management, representatives, customers, and subcontractors to provide project direction and increase sales
Demonstrate ability to lead Sales team towards results
Manage performance of sales management and representative organizations
Oversee monthly sales forecasts and sales strategies for each region
Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness
Work with Product Management to provide accurate product development feedback
Conduct market analysis and feasibility and risk assessment studies on a daily basis
Negotiation and acquisition of lease agreements and securing grid connections and building permits
Will be expected to proactively source new clientele and generate new revenue streams
Negotiating terms and closing deals
Education:-
Must have strong educational background (engineering, economics or business background)
Core Requirements:-
You will have at least 5 years of sales experience, with a track recording in driving sales
You will have at least 2 years renewabale energy sales experience, with a track record in selling solar products( wafer, ingots, modules and/or inveters)
Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
Ability to manage multiple projects
Proven ability to manage and direct staff, including recruitment, selection and development to achieve company goals and objectives
Demonstrat in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principals
General Requirements:-
Ability to travel
Proficient with making impactful presentations
Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
Key Skills:-
Solar PV, negotiations experience, sales experience, solar product (wafers, ingots, modules and/or inveters) sales experience and team leadership
