Within the Supply Chain Optimisation area, the Supply Analyst will report to the Vessel Planning Manager and work closely with the Vessel Logistics (VL) and Vessel Operations (VO) Teams. This role will maintain and continuously improve the reporting functionality.
The key focus of the role is primarily around providing Vessel Logistics & Vessel Operations Teams with accurate reporting systems and processes so that they will easily access all relevant information to enable the achievement of cost optimal allocations, DIFOT targets and the management of carrier shares. In this role, that means not only maintaining current reporting functionality, processes and systems, but challenging boundaries and putting your technical skills to good use by continuously looking for improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting functions. You will provide day to day systems support, troubleshoot technical issues and ensure data accuracy is maintained in the database.
The ability to analyse the detail whilst maintaining a clear picture of the wider business goals and vision is critical in this role. Commercially astute and ambitious, you will be highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure and have advanced Excel and Access skills, particularly managing large scale data sets. Your experience or exposure to SAP and/or SARAS will be advantageous.
