An established and progressive land development consultancy requires a Structural Engineer to join their Christchurch office.
They provide technical expertise in the fields of electrical, mechanical and geotechnical engineering; while utilising
experts in the fields of GIS, civil engineering, structural engineering, surveying, project management and planning. In
this role you will be involved is all aspects of structural projects including design, project management and construction
supervision. To be considered for this role, your experience will have included structural design using timber, steel
and concrete whilst completing seismic calculations . In addition you will ideally be a Chartered Engineer (Structural or
Civil) or be eligible for chartership. You’ll be experience in working on both residential and commercial projects, be a
team player, and be comfortable in dealing with clients. You’ll have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
English and have experience in using Microstran and AutoCAD design tools. Remuneration will be in line with qualifications
and skills demonstrated; payment of fees relating to any professional memberships and the option to join a subsidised health
insurance scheme. You must be a NZ citizen, resident or hold a current work permit to apply.
