We're a global business, and for your career that means no boundaries to what can be achieved. It also means we supply what success demands: sophisticated systems, size, scale and complexity… and development opportunities that are second to none. So if you demand the best, you'll find it at Fonterra.

Reporting to the Product Group Manager (Specialty Powders Team) within Optimisation, Trading & Sourcing (OTS), this dynamic position provides the scope to gain broad planning exposure through our global network, build relationships across the wider business, while working with niche products in a highly complex portfolio.

As an Operational Planner you will take ownership of the monthly Sales & Operations (S&OP) product plan for Fonterra's Specialty Powders portfolio by managing supply and demand within a structured time frame. Balancing the demand and supply figures you will manage transactional data and plan changes to provide a high quality plan for execution to meet customer requirements. Invariably you will encounter times when things don't go to plan, during which time you will liaise with the relevant stakeholders (e.g. account managers, 3

party suppliers and/or manufacturing managers) to formulate appropriate solutions and provide clear recommendations to the Product Group Manager to minimise disruption.

A seasoned relationship builder, you will be interpersonally savvy and skilled at effectively adapting your style when engaging with different internal and external customers. With exceptional problem solving and analytical skills, you will be solutions focused and results driven. Your strong communication skills will equip you well to communicate and influence your diverse audiences. You will enjoy a flexible and highly autonomous approach to your work and it goes without saying that you will be technically savvy with sound skills in SAP APO and Excel, and ideally possess prior planning or stock management experience.

As recognisers of talent Fonterra provide true stretch, growth and opportunity for people who bring passion and motivation to perform.
