Full job description

Maybe you've been thinking it's time for a change.

You've been working support for a while.

You've mastered the queue.

You've rescued users from Outlook.

You've untangled Active Directory.

You've survived Azure.

You've explained, for the hundredth time, that turning it off and on again really was the right answer.

Now it's time to join a team that backs your skills, feeds your curiosity, and actually makes work fun.

We're First Focus. Cloud Tango has named us one of the world's top MSPs for nine years running. With almost 500 people across multiple countries, we're growing fast, evolving constantly, and building careers with purpose. Our leaders back our technical team, our culture rewards curiosity, and our clients are genuinely enjoyable to work with.

The best technical support professionals don't all look the same. Some love the fast pace of the Service Desk. Others enjoy building relationships onsite or getting hands-on in the field. Wherever your strengths lie, if you enjoy solving problems, learning new technology and helping people, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you are working in Australia, New Zealand or the Philippines, we have a team that needs you. And joining First Focus means becoming part of a team that invests in your growth, celebrates curiosity and gives you the chance to build a career, not just close tickets.

Working in technical support here is a chance to:

  • Work across desktops, servers, networking, cloud infrastructure and emerging AI tools
  • Learn from experienced engineers who genuinely enjoy sharing what they know
  • Build your technical skills with paid training, certifications and mentoring
  • Solve real problems instead of reading from a script
  • Be part of a team that celebrates wins, helps when things get messy, and enjoys the journey together
What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting Microsoft AD, Azure, Microsoft 365 and Exchange environments
  • Troubleshooting desktops, servers, firewalls and networks
  • Working across modern cloud platforms including Azure, Entra, Hyper-V, Citrix and AWS
  • Opportunities to work alongside senior engineers on project delivery
  • Collaborating with teammates to keep customer environments secure, stable and performing well
  • Building trusted relationships with the people you support

Requirements

What You'll Bring
  • Strong experience supporting Microsoft environments and end users
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server, Exchange and cloud technologies
  • Confidence working across desktops, servers and networking
  • Experience using ticketing systems and keeping customers informed
  • Great communication, genuine curiosity and a love of solving problems
  • A team-first attitude and the desire to keep learning

Benefits

What You'll Get

Competitive salary package

Free access to Uprise, with confidential coaching from qualified psychologists and counsellors

Flexible and hybrid working arrangements where the role allows

10 paid training days every year, certification costs covered, and salary increases for earning approved certifications

FastTrack mentoring to help grow your career

Our MAD (Making A Difference) Council, supporting equality, sustainability and community initiatives

Regular social events, a supportive culture, and teammates who genuinely enjoy working together

We believe the best tech support professionals never stop learning, and neither do we. You'll be surrounded by people who enjoy sharing what they know, helping each other improve, and tackling new challenges together. It's a culture built on curiosity, trust, and the idea that everyone gets better when we learn from one another.

Neurodiverse? We've Got You.

We welcome applications from neurodiverse candidates. If you're comfortable disclosing, we'll share our Neurodiversity Statement and work with you to create an environment where your skills shine brightest.

Apply now. Or don't. But if you're still reading, there's a decent chance you're already imagining what life looks like outside your current ticket queue.
