About the RoleBBS & Sons Ltd is a growing property maintenance business providing lawn care, landscaping, cleaning, property maintenance, and related services to residential, commercial, and property management clients.We are seeking an experienced and organised Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business and ensure that all services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating staff, managing operational systems, overseeing financial administration, and supporting the continued growth of the business.Key

ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the business.Plan, organise, and coordinate daily and weekly work schedules and staff rosters.Manage and supervise operational staff and field teams.Allocate jobs and resources efficiently to ensure work is completed on time.Monitor staff performance, productivity, attendance, and work quality.Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff management.Manage payroll information and coordinate with relevant payroll and accounting systems.Assist with invoicing, quoting, job costing, and monitoring operational expenses.Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.Implement and maintain health and safety procedures and systems.Manage customer enquiries, complaints, and service issues.Communicate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and staff.Prepare and submit quotes and assist with securing new work.Support marketing activities and business development.Monitor the quality of completed work and ensure company standards are maintained.Identify operational problems and implement improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.Maintain records, reports, schedules, and other operational documentation.Coordinate equipment, vehicles, materials, and other business resources.Ensure the business complies with relevant company, employment, health and safety, and operational requirements.Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have:Experience in operations management, business administration, property maintenance, facilities management, or a related industry.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Experience supervising and coordinating staff.Good understanding of rosters, payroll, quoting, invoicing, and business administration.Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and make operational decisions.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.A professional approach to dealing with customers, employees, contractors, and suppliers.QualificationsA relevant qualification in business management, operations management, business administration, or a related field is desirable.Employment DetailsPosition: Operations ManagerCompany: BBS & Sons LtdEmployment Type: Full-timeLocation: Waikato, New ZealandThe Operations Manager will play a key role in managing and improving the company's operations, supporting staff, maintaining service quality, and contributing to the continued growth and development of BBS & Sons Ltd
