POSITION

Restaurant / Assistant Manager

Full Time Position - Minimum hours 30 and 50 hours maximum per week.

Wage rate - $30 - $35 /hr depending on experience and skills

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

The Restaurant or Assistant Manager is organise and control the operations of cafes, restaurants and related establishments to provide dining and catering services

REPORT TO

Owner / Operation Manager

RESPONSIBLE FOR

Restaurant Staff

RELATIONSHIP WITH

Staff, Customers, Suppliers, Local Authorities (LLA, Police, RPH etc)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-planning menus in consultation with Chefs;

-planning and organising special functions;

-arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget;

-maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions;

-ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.

-conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service;

selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff;

-may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

Must have at least 3 year relevant experience.

Relevant qualifications are advantageous, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $36.00 per hour
