We are seeking an Administration Support / Reception Officer to join our Business Support team. This pivotal role is responsible for delivering high-quality front-of-house services and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and secure environment for all visitors, contractors, and staff.

In this role, you will regularly manage a variety of situations that require professionalism, respect, empathy, and a positive approach. Reporting to the Area Executive Officer, the position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including administrative support, front counter customer service, mail distribution and sorting, and coordination of security access cards. This is a varied and engaging role ideal for someone who enjoys balancing customer-facing duties with administrative tasks.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide a professional and welcoming reception service to visitors, contractors, and staff.
  • Manage building access, including issuing security cards and verifying entry permissions.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, with strong verbal and written skills.

  • The ability to work independently or as a team player
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills

  • Full NZ drivers’ licence
  • Be a NZ Citizen or have permanent NZ residency

Utu ā-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $63,526 and $66,312 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
