About the Role
Join a growing research team delivering clinical trials that improve outcomes for cancer patients across New Zealand. This is a great opportunity to build your career in a supportive, fast-paced environment with exposure to both local and international studies.
As a Clinical Research Study Assistant, you will support Haematology and Oncology trials by coordinating study activities and providing administrative and operational support to clinical teams, ensuring research is delivered in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
Based at Te Pūriri o Te Ora Aucklands Regional Cancer and Blood Service, youll be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to advancing cancer care.

Te Pūriri o Te Ora is the name that has been gifted to our Regional Cancer and Blood Services by Kahurangi Rangimārie Naida Glavish of Ngāti Whātua, Chief Advisor Tikanga for Te Toka Tumai. Te Pūriri o Te Ora means "the Pūriri tree of wellbeing" and speaks to the many qualities and gifts of the Pūriri tree and our aspiration to provide a place of healing and wellbeing for our communities.
Based at Te Papakāinga Atawhai o Tāmaki (Auckland City Hospital), Te Pūriri o Te Ora is the leading provider of cancer care across Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Tai Tokerau, serving over two million people. We are home to Aotearoas largest oncology unit and provide a wide range of services including Medical and Radiation Oncology, Haematology, Cancer and Blood Research, Genetic Health, the National Gastrointestinal Cancer Service, and specialist cancer psychological and social support.

About You
As a Clinical Research Study Assistant, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Medical/Health Science, Pharmacy, or a similar field
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Initiative and the ability to work both independently and within a team
- A strong interest in developing a career in clinical research
