At ASB, our purpose is to accelerate progress for all New Zealanders. As a Marketing Campaign Analyst, you’ll play a key role in bringing this to life—using data and insights to deliver meaningful, timely communications that make a real difference to over a million customers.
Te tūranga | The role
As part of our Marketing Data & Analytics chapter, you’ll design and deliver targeted customer communications by translating marketing intent into data-driven campaigns. You’ll work closely with Marketing and Product stakeholders to ensure every interaction is relevant, accurate, and impactful.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with stakeholder collaboration and continuous improvement, while growing your skills in an organisation investing heavily in modernising its data and technology stack.
Ngā mahi | What you’ll do
  • Design and build targeted customer campaigns using tools such as SQL and campaign management platforms (e.g. Unica, Adobe or similar)
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable data briefs
  • Apply robust QA and governance processes to ensure high-quality outputs
  • Analyse campaign performance, including troubleshooting and uncovering optimisation opportunities
  • Partner with technology teams to enhance data sources and automate campaign processes
  • Contribute to improving the accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness of customer communications
  • Support strong risk management practices by adhering to established processes and raising/resolving issues

We’re looking for someone who combines analytical thinking with strong collaboration skills and attention to detail.
You will ideally bring:
  • Experience in analytical or database marketing (academic or commercial)
  • Strong SQL capability and experience with campaign or marketing automation tools (e.g. Unica, Adobe or similar)
  • The ability to build trusted relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, Science, Finance or similar
