This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The remuneration range for this role is $69,288 - $97,818 p.a. (including KiwiSaver), depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity
At Tiaki Wai, being able to quickly access high-quality information when we need it is vital to us being able to effectively and efficiently deliver three waters services. Growing stakeholder awareness of the water sector highlights the importance of maintaining reliable information - to set priorities, improve efficiency, and maintain transparency.
In this entry-level role, you will be supporting the effective management, organisation, and accessibility of Tiaki Wai documents, records and intranet pages.
That means you'll be working with people all over Tiaki Wai to:
- organise and process records for storage, archiving, migration and disposal
- search and collate information for various forms of information requests
- manage and promote intranet content to ensure it stays up to date.
You'll also work across the wider Data, Information & Analytics team, providing you with an opportunity to gain a wide range of data management experience to support the core services we provide to Tiaki Wai teams.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- a relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent entry level (i.e. at least one year) experience in a relevant field including information and records management
- entry-level experience (i.e. at least one year) in handling physical and digital records and information
- experience working with SharePoint Online.
Additionally, the following would be desirable:
- experience working with Intranets
- experience working with network file shares
- experience working within an agile environment and/or in a cross-functional team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be eager to share their ideas, and be driven to grow their career and technical skillset.

The Digital Products and Services (DPS) team develops and maintains digital products and provides digital services used by Tiaki Wai and the community.
The Data, Information & Analytics team champions the importance of quality, well-managed data and information across all parts of Tiaki Wai. The function provides asset management, geospatial, time series, analytics, and information management expertise to both DPS and Tiaki Wai.
