Café Chef – Full Time Position

We are on the lookout for a creative and passionate Café Chef to join our team!

About the Role

This is a full-time position in a busy café where you’ll prepare fresh, high-quality meals and bring new ideas to the menu. If you enjoy creating exciting dishes and working in a positive daytime environment, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality café-style food
  • Create and introduce new, innovative dishes and seasonal menu ideas
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Work collaboratively with the team

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a chef (café experience preferred)
  • Passion for food and creativity in menu development
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Weekend availability is essential
  • Must have valid New Zealand work rights
