Full job description

Parsons Café and Bakery is currently in search of an experienced FOH/Café Assistant.

Parsons Café and Bakery is located in the heart of Khandallah, we pride ourselves on providing great food and coffee to the surrounding community. We offer a wide range of products that cater to all, from our local customers or to those just passing through. Here at Parsons, we have an enjoyable and organized work atmosphere that promotes the growth and development of all our team members.

About the role:

- This is a part-time role, starting at around 10-15 hours per week, with the possibility of picking up additional hours as you become more experienced in the position.

- The candidate would need to have a good understanding of a cafe day to day operation and able to fit various FOH roles.

- Previous hospitality experience is essential.

- It will be required that you undertake tasks such as serving customers, running food and coffee, and other general duties, whilst maintaining a tidy and welcoming space.

- Flexible hours to work around university times table.

- Our cafe open 7 days 7am to 5pm weekend 8am to 4pm. Due to some 7am starts it would be preferred that you have a reliable transport.

- There is free parking available throughout Khandallah village.

About You:

- You will have high customer service standards and be dedicated to proving a positive and friendly experience for all our customers.

- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, whilst communicating and working effectively within the FOH team is essential.

- Ideally you are organized and passionate when it comes to good quality service, as our motivation lies in providing the Khanadallah community with a great range of products, along with a friendly smile.
