We're looking for a dynamic, reliable individual to join our team as a Barista / Front of House staff member.
Weekend hours - Saturday & Sunday - 9am to 4pm

As part of our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Accurately taking customer orders and processing payments over a POS system.

• Preparing professional quality beverages using a commercial coffee machine.

• Preparing and serving cafe style food and drinks to customers.

• Cleaning and maintaining cafe and equipment including but not limited to coffee grinders, espresso machines, convection ovens, display cabinets and counters.

• Must be passionate about coffee, creative and have excellent presentation skills

• You may be required to sell bread and patisserie items from the bakery.

• Answer the bakery telephone and fulfil reasonable customer requests as required.

• Clearing away used dishes and cutlery from tables when customers are finished.

• Cleaning and preparing tables for use.

• Washing and putting away dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils.

• Receive deliveries and assist in putting away new stock.

• Must enforce proper steps to ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

• May be involved in cost control, ordering and purchasing.

• Assist other staff members when required.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
