Full job description
Kitchen Hand & Service All-Rounder Trax Bar and Café
Trax Bar and Café is seeking a disciplined, hardworking, and proactive Kitchen Hand / All-Rounder to join our established team. This position is central to our daily operations, requiring a candidate who excels in a fast-paced environment and possesses the versatility to support both back-of-house and front-of-house functions.
Kitchen (Monday to Friday, 1pm to 4pm)
- Washing dishes, pots, pans and utensils, and keeping the dish area clean and tidy
- Putting clean dishes away
- Keeping benches, floors and bins clean throughout the shift
- Helping with basic food prep when needed
- Following food safety and hygiene rules
Front of house (extra hours before or after the kitchen shift)
- Making coffees on the espresso machine (training provided)
- Taking orders, serving customers and handling payments at the till
- Pouring and serving drinks at the bar
- Clearing and wiping down tables, and keeping the cafe and bar tidy
- Restocking the fridges, bar and counter
- Helping with opening or closing duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
