Hours- Minimum 30 and maximum 40 hours per week

Payrate- $24- $30/hour

Role Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front of House Staff / Waiters to join our team in Mt Roskill, Auckland. This role is essential in delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming customers, taking and serving orders, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness of service areas, and supporting overall front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, present menus, and explain food and beverage options.
  • Take customer orders accurately and communicate them clearly to kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring a high standard of presentation and service.
  • Clear tables after service and return used items to the kitchen in a timely manner.
  • Process customer payments using POS systems and provide accurate change when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining and service areas in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with setting up and decorating the venue for special events or functions when required.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a polite, positive, and helpful manner.
  • Coordinate with the Café Manager and other team members to ensure smooth front-of-house operations.
  • Follow all workplace health, safety, and operational policies.

  • Level 3 or Level 4 Qualification in Hospitality or related field as we need someone who has basic hospitality etiquettes
  • Willingness to learn and follow service standards.
  • Physically fit to stand for extended periods and carry trays where required.
