Car Delivery Driver jobs

Dhindsa Transport (NZ) Limited, a reliable courier service provider, is looking for Courier Drivers to join our team in the Manawatū-Whanganui region. We are seeking reliable, punctual, and dedicated individuals who take pride in delivering timely and professional service.

The role involves travel within the region, with all travel and fuel expenses covered by the employer.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Deliver a wide range of parcels and goods to various destinations following assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload items to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Operate and maintain the delivery vehicle in a safe, clean, and roadworthy condition at all times.
• Inspect vehicles daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Handle goods with care during loading and unloading to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and related documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Comply with all road safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and you will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.

Other Requirements:

• Must hold a valid driver’s license to operate a light motor vehicle or van, with a clean driving history.
• Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Comfortable working on Saturdays.
• Must be available to start as early as 4:30 AM.
• Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
• Must pass Criminal record check by MOJ
• Must be able to do Heavy Lifting (if required)
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both as a team player and independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
