We are seeking dedicated and professional drivers who are passionate about providing exceptional service and ensuring passenger safety. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values your contribution and encourages your professional growth.

Work Region: Whole Hawkes Bay Region including Hastings, Napier or Havelock North but sometimes you get out of town jobs as well.

  • Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
  • Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
  • Collect payments and issue receipts
  • Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage
  • Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up to date on road conditions
  • Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
  • Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest
  • Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
  • Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
  • Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car

Requirements and skills

  • Previous experience in Driving (Class 1 Vehicle) for a minimum of one year.
  • A valid driver’s license (overseas equivalent license is also acceptable)
  • A clean driving record
  • Familiarity with GPS devices is plus
  • Fine to work in split shifts in a day ( 4 Hours Morning & 4 Hours evening)
  • Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
  • Availability to work on weekend and night shifts
  • A polite and professional disposition
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
  • Availability on weekend is needed

Benefit of the Role:

- Permanent Full Time Role

- Hourly Rate - $26- $27 P/H

- Employer will assist to gain P endorsement

Pay: $26.00 – $27.00 per hour
