Catering Supervisor jobs

• 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday (6am to 2:30pm)

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Southern Cross Brightside Hospital in Epsom.

Southern Cross Brightside Hospital is a modern private short-stay surgical hospital committed to providing restaurant-quality meals and catering for special dietary requirements. To support this service, we are looking for a Catering Assistant who takes pride in providing excellent food service and contributing to a positive experience for patients and staff.

Working alongside the Chef Manager and wider kitchen team, you will help provide meals for up to 43 patients and lunches for up to 100 staff each day. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting with food preparation and meal service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
• Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen organised
• Supporting the Chef Manager and wider kitchen team
• Assisting with the presentation and delivery of meals
• Ensuring patients receive meals presented with care and attention
• Contributing to a positive, efficient, and well-organised kitchen environment

• Previous kitchen, hospitality, or food service experience is preferred but not essential
