If you’re ready to bring your energy, service skills, and love for Food and coffee to Altura Café, based in Rosedale - Auckland, we’d love to hear from you!

Open Monday to Sunday, shifts range between 6am to 3pm. Closed Nights.

CDP Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and operating a designated kitchen section
  • Preparing and cooking menu items in line with established recipes and standards
  • Maintaining food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Monitoring stock levels, minimising wastage, and assisting with ordering requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety requirements
  • Supervising and supporting junior kitchen staff where required

This is a skilled role requiring experience in commercial kitchen operations and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant full-time commercial kitchen experience
  • The ability to work under pressure during busy service periods
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a roster that includes weekends.
  • Need to prove that you can legally work in NZ.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

This is a full-time, permanent position with a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, ability to work weekends is a necessity!

Pay: $26.00 – $29.00 per hour
