As a Design & Content Coordinator in our Strategic Communications team, you will play a key role in enabling clear, engaging and customer‑centric internal communications across ANZ New Zealand by translating strategic priorities into compelling visual and digital content across multiple internal channels.

As a Design and Content Coordinator, you are accountable for:
Managing the end‑to‑end design and delivery of internal communications across newsletters, email, video, intranet (Max) and digital channels – ensuring alignment to ANZ brand, accessibility standards and strategic priorities.
Creating, publishing and maintaining content across internal platforms (Max, Viva Engage, Staffbase, Appspace) – ensuring relevance, accuracy, and aligned with organisational priorities.
Producing and managing Mōrena Aotearoa, ANZ NZ’s all‑staff newsletter – including stakeholder engagement, content shaping, visual design, Staffbase build, distribution and ongoing optimisation.
Advising stakeholders on best‑practice communication approaches – matching channel, format and design to business objectives to improve reach, clarity and impact.
Leading visual design and collateral for internal events – including concept development, branding, digital and physical materials, and on‑event execution support.
Conceptualising, scripting, producing and editing video content – delivering engaging storytelling across a range of business topics and audiences.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong digital and visual communication expertise – with proven ability to deliver high‑quality content across video, email, intranet, print and digital channels
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Forms, Power Automate) and internal publishing platforms (e.g. Staffbase or similar CMS).
End‑to‑end video production capability – including concept development, scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing and captioning.
Experience working with senior stakeholders and translating strategic messaging into effective communication outputs.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of written communication principles, brand standards and accessibility guidelines.
Extensive experience in visual communication design, digital content, or UX‑aligned roles.
Experience with Figma or other collaborative design tools is an advantage but not required
