What you’ll doAs a Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll lead the successful delivery of complex digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. You’ll play a key role in shaping client relationships, mentoring Producers, and continuously improving how we deliver work at Catch.
You will:
- Lead the delivery of complex, high-profile digital projects from initiation through to completion
- Own project planning, scoping, estimation, and scheduling to ensure realistic and achievable outcomes
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and blockers to keep projects moving smoothly
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building trust through clear, transparent communication
- Provide regular project updates, manage expectations, and navigate change with confidence
- Work closely with designers, developers, strategists, and specialists to ensure seamless delivery
- Support resource planning and allocation in collaboration with the Delivery Lead
- Apply and champion “The Catch Way” across projects, ensuring consistent delivery standards
- Maintain high-quality project documentation, reporting, and governance
- Track budgets, manage scope changes, and ensure financial performance across your projects
- Contribute to pitches, scoping, and proposals to support new business opportunities.
Beyond project delivery, you’ll help grow the capability and confidence of our delivery team.
You will:
- Mentor and support junior Producers through regular feedback, guidance, and coaching
- Lead retrospectives and knowledge-sharing sessions to drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to improving delivery processes, tools, and ways of working across the agency
- Work with People Leads to support performance feedback and professional development.
Requirements
You must already be based in New Zealand and available to work from our Auckland office.
You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in digital project management, production, or delivery roles
- Proven experience working within a digital agency or consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while balancing scope, time, budget, and quality
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trusted client relationships
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with designers, developers, and strategists
- Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and scope control
- A calm, proactive, solutions-focused mindset, especially when navigating complexity
