Full job description

At Catch Design, we help some of New Zealand’s most recognised brands create meaningful, inclusive, and impactful digital experiences. We’re looking for a Senior Delivery Manager who brings calm leadership, strong delivery craft, and a genuine passion for doing great work the right way.

If you’re an experienced digital delivery professional who thrives on complexity, values strong relationships, and enjoys leading teams to deliver high-quality outcomes, this could be the role for you.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll lead the successful delivery of complex digital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. You’ll play a key role in shaping client relationships, mentoring Producers, and continuously improving how we deliver work at Catch.

You will:

  • Lead the delivery of complex, high-profile digital projects from initiation through to completion
  • Own project planning, scoping, estimation, and scheduling to ensure realistic and achievable outcomes
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and blockers to keep projects moving smoothly
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building trust through clear, transparent communication
  • Provide regular project updates, manage expectations, and navigate change with confidence
  • Work closely with designers, developers, strategists, and specialists to ensure seamless delivery
  • Support resource planning and allocation in collaboration with the Delivery Lead
  • Apply and champion “The Catch Way” across projects, ensuring consistent delivery standards
  • Maintain high-quality project documentation, reporting, and governance
  • Track budgets, manage scope changes, and ensure financial performance across your projects
  • Contribute to pitches, scoping, and proposals to support new business opportunities.
Mentorship and practice leadership

Beyond project delivery, you’ll help grow the capability and confidence of our delivery team.

You will:

  • Mentor and support junior Producers through regular feedback, guidance, and coaching
  • Lead retrospectives and knowledge-sharing sessions to drive continuous improvement
  • Contribute to improving delivery processes, tools, and ways of working across the agency
  • Work with People Leads to support performance feedback and professional development.

Requirements

You must already be based in New Zealand and available to work from our Auckland office.

You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital project management, production, or delivery roles
  • Proven experience working within a digital agency or consultancy environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while balancing scope, time, budget, and quality
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trusted client relationships
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with designers, developers, and strategists
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and scope control
  • A calm, proactive, solutions-focused mindset, especially when navigating complexity

Most importantly, you’ll embody Catch’s mission: Do good by our team, do good by our clients, and deliver great work.

Benefits

At Catch, we love what we do and value balance, well-being, and growth. Here’s what you’ll get:

  • Flexible working—with core hours that fit your lifestyle
  • 4 weeks annual leave + 5 “Happy days” per year
  • Your birthday off
  • Full healthcare insurance—including dental and optical, wellness leave, and regular well-being initiatives
  • Professional growth—personalised development, learning lunches, and structured career progression
  • Team culture—central city offices, great snacks, company-wide events

Ready to design meaningful digital experiences and grow your craft in a team that champions quality, curiosity, and collaboration? Apply now.
