Jobs and Skills Hub Training Facilitator - Lower Hutt
- 6-month Secondment or Fixed Term opportunity

- Join us to support the delivery of training activities for the construction and infrastructure sectors with the Jobs and Skills Hub
We are seeking an experienced, energetic candidate to identify, support and coordinate training outcomes to meet trainee and employer needs.
The Training Facilitator role is a key pillar for a 'one stop shop' service approach for the construction and infrastructure industries in relation to on-site training, promoting the investment in industry training and being a voice for trainee and employer needs.
The role oversees and co-ordinates innovative training activities to ensure the workforce development needs are met and encourages an industry wide training culture. There is a clear focus on remaining learner and employer centric in delivery and support.
What you bring | Ou pumanawatanga
For this role, ideally you will bring:
- Experience in construction and/or infrastructure industry training and/or tertiary education.
- A sound understanding of NZQA and Qualification framework.
- Strong relationship management skills with proven ability to build and maintain key relationships.
- The ability to demonstrate initiative and take ownership.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a small team to support workload and overall team goals.
- The capacity to comfortably navigate changes and shifting priorities.
- Sound communication skills, including well-developed written and presentation skills.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability work well under pressure.
- Passion in working with diverse stakeholders and communities.
- An excellent level of computer literacy.

Experience working with youth to support them into work would be a great advantage as well as a clean New Zealand driver's licence.
