Job Location - Auckland

Pay rate - $25 - $30

Hours - 30 hours per week

  • Experienced Curry and tandoor cook wanted for a busy GlenField Restaurant.
  • Duties and Responsibilities include: -
  • Preparation of Tandoori and Indian dishes and curries.
  • Preparation of Indian Sweets.
  • Maintain cleaning checklists and high levels of cleanliness at all times.
  • Preparing authentic Indian dips, side dishes and sauces in advance
  • Ensuring kitchen equipment’s are in proper working condition.
  • Keep the kitchen clean and tidy.
  • Train other kitchen staff whenever required.
  • Ordering stock and checking goods on arrival
  • Conduct regular stock checks/stock-take
  • Ensuring the quality of food before it leaves the kitchen
  • Such other duties assigned from time to time.
  • Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Curry and Tandoor Chef (preferably in a high-volume or fast-paced environment)
  • Passion for quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
