Full job description

Project Details*

- *Client:* AECOM

- *Location:* Level 19, 171 Featherston Street, Wellington Central, Wellington 6011, New Zealand

- *Start Date:* 23 November 2026

- *Work Arrangement:* Onsite

- *Schedule:* 2 fixed days per week

- *Rate:300 NZD

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Provide Level 1 & 2 technical support for desktop, laptop, hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops.
  • Manage device provisioning, imaging, software deployment, patching, and endpoint lifecycle activities.
  • Support Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID for device and identity management.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security groups in Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Diagnose and resolve LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
  • Provide technical assistance to end users onsite and remotely.
  • Maintain IT asset inventories and ensure accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions.
  • Follow IT service management procedures, escalation processes, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and minimize downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT Desktop Support, IT Support Engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows operating systems and desktop hardware.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft 365 and enterprise IT support.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and TCP/IP.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in an onsite support environment.

Pay: $300.00 per day
