Type- Full time, Permanent

Pay : $30 an hour

No of working hours : 30 hours a week

The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and displays apositive attitude when interacting with customers and other employees. Relevant experience ispreferred not mandatory however on the job training may be provided.

Any Tertiary qualification including overseas qualification is desirable not mandatory.

Objective of the role:

Perform basic calculations to collect payments and make change

Scanning goods and ensuring pricing is accurate

Operate registers, scanners, scales and POS terminals

Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets

Redeem stamps and coupons

Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or makesuggestions

Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner

Delivering outstanding customer service to all customers by listening and responding to

customer queries in a confident and professional manner

Reporting customer complaints to Line Managers and Duty Managers

Ensuring that trolleys and carrier bags are clean and placed in the right places

Collect payments and bag purchases for customers

Maintain accurate cash drawer

Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a shift and produce

transaction reports

Handling merchandise returns and exchanges

Keep the checkout area clean and orderly
