Full job description
HealthCare NZ is New Zealand’s largest home and community healthcare provider, delivering disability support, aged care, rehabilitation, and in-home nursing services nationwide to help people live independently in their communities.
A Home Care Support Worker (also called a Home Support Worker or Caregiver) helps elderly, disabled, injured, or chronically ill people live independently in their own homes.
Job Description
Typical responsibilities include:
Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
Helping clients take medications as directed
Preparing meals and assisting with feeding if required
Performing household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and bed making
Shopping for groceries and essential items
Providing companionship and emotional support
Driving clients to appointments, community activities, or shopping
Monitoring clients' health and reporting concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals
Maintaining records of care provided
Pay: From $5,000.00 per month
