Housekeeping Room Attendant (Part-Time) – Novotel Ngamotu Taranaki

Location: New Plymouth, Taranaki
Hours: Minimum 10 hours per week – weekend availability + 1 weekday (flexible)
Pay Rate: $27.059 to $28.40 per hour based on experience
Start: August 2026

About the Role:
As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our rooms and public areas meet our exceptional standards. Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and servicing guest rooms efficiently and to the highest standard
  • Maintaining cleanliness in public areas as required
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction through attention to detail and a friendly, professional approach
  • Working effectively in a team while managing your own time

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel is an advantage
  • Physically fit – able to lift up to 25 kg, stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for cleanliness and presentation
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet strict timeframes
  • Flexible and team-focused – weekend work, 1 weekday, and most public holidays
  • Positive, approachable, and guest-focused

Shift Details:

  • Typical shift: 9:00 AM – 1:00/2:00 PM (occasional afternoon shifts for late departures) any day of the week, including weekends and publich holidays.
  • Public area cleaning or laundry shifts may be included on some shifts
