Full job description

We currently have 6 job openings for Junior Electricians to join our growing team.

The position is ideal for someone who is newly registered or working towards becoming a registered electrician.

If you have 2 years of relevant work experience, or a relevant Level 4 qualification or above (any bachelor's degree will be considered relevant), please send us your CV.

Position: Junior Electrician

Position Available: 6

Minimum Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Pay & Benefits: $24-$25 per hour (negotiable depending on experience/qualification)

  • The installation of electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lighting, switches, and electrical panels.
  • Support in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical faults in residential, commercial, and industrial systems.
  • Learn and apply the use of electrical testing equipment and tools to assess electrical circuits and systems.
  • Ensuring electrical work is carried out in accordance with applicable electrical regulations and safety standards.
  • Upgrading and replacing existing electrical systems, including wiring, breakers, and outlets.
  • Participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure their reliability and safety.
  • Cable installation, cable pulling, testing, and other electrical tasks as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Document work activities, progress, and any issues or faults identified during work.
  • Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times.

Job requirements:

  • A valid EWRB Limited Certificate or Trainee Limited Certificate is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Limited Certificate or Trainee Limited Certificate from EWRB.
  • Working towards Electrician Registration.
  • Class 1 driver license is required.
