Opportunity Overview

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will contribute to develop and maintain the full software stack supporting our hardware and systems, from PXIe modules to stand-alone signal integrity test instruments. Working closely with hardware, automation and test engineers, you will contribute to design, implement and optimise software that ensures performance, reliability and a seamless user experience across our product range.

Implement, test, debug, and document software for products, including PXIe modules and stand-alone signal integrity instruments.
Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.
Apply and advocate software engineering best practices, including participating in code reviews, implementing unit and automated testing, using version control, and secure coding standards.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects.
Support continuous improvement of processes, tools, and workflows, and actively share knowledge across the team.

Bachelor's degree (or currently working towards completion) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
Exposure to software development through academic projects, internships, personal projects, or entry-level industry experience.
Basic programming skills in one or more languages such as C#, C++, Python, C, or .NET technologies.
Understanding of fundamental software engineering concepts, including object-oriented programming, testing, and debugging.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and development practices.
Willingness to receive feedback, follow guidance from senior team members, and continuously develop technical skills.
