All Chicks Limited is seeking Poultry Workers to join its team in the Auckland. The role will support day-to-day farm operations by assisting with daily activities, maintaining farm standards, and providing reliable and dedicated service to ensure smooth and efficient poultry farming operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out feeding, watering, and routine care of poultry in accordance with farm procedures and animal welfare requirements.
• Collect, sort, clean, and pack eggs as per established quality and hygiene standards.
• Observe poultry and identify any visible signs of illness, injury, or abnormal behaviour, reporting issues to the supervisor.
• Clean and sanitise poultry sheds, cages, nesting areas, equipment, and work surfaces to maintain required hygiene and biosecurity standards.
• Assist in the movement, handling, and placement of poultry within designated farm areas as instructed.
• Support the operation of basic farm systems such as feeding, watering, ventilation, and egg collection equipment.
• Assist with routine poultry health activities, including vaccination and medication, strictly under supervision.
• Remove waste materials and dispose of deceased poultry in accordance with farm health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Monitor and report feed usage, stock levels, and basic farm supplies to ensure continuity of operations.
• Maintain accurate daily records relating to egg production, poultry counts, feed usage, and routine farm activities.
• Follow all workplace health, safety, hygiene, and animal welfare procedures at all times.
• Assist with general maintenance and other operational poultry farm duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Assist in the use of basic farm equipment, including tractors and other machinery, as part of routine poultry farm operations.

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $24 and $28 per hour.

Other Requirements:

• Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• A valid driver licence is preferred.
• Available to work on weekends and flexible shifts as required.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and comply with operational procedures and farm guidelines.
• Dedicated, self-motivated, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively within a team.

Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
