Kitchenhand Staff Wanted (2 Positions)
Buon Venuti Ristorante & Pizzeria is a well-established Italian restaurant located in Browns Bay, Auckland, serving authentic Italian cuisine since the late 1970s. We are currently seeking two experienced and reliable Kitchenhand staff to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis.

Minimum guaranteed hours: 30 hours per week
Pay Rate
$25 – $30 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, including mopping and sweeping floors
- Clean kitchen utensils, appliances, equipment, and workstations
- Wash pots, pans, and trays manually or using commercial dishwashers
- Transfer stock from storage areas to pantry shelves
- Wash and prepare vegetables and ingredients for cooking
- Assist in arranging dining tables for lunch and dinner service
- Support kitchen and service staff in food preparation and service
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months’ experience working as a Kitchenhand
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and extra hours when required
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions efficiently
