The Better Drinks Co. is a New Zealand beverage company that produces innovative drink products for local and international markets. Operating in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment, the company focuses on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching products while ensuring inventory accuracy and food safety standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and verify incoming stock and deliveries
Unload, inspect, and store raw materials, packaging, and finished products
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (where licensed)
Conduct stock counts and assist with inventory control
Maintain accurate warehouse and inventory records
Ensure products are stored according to food safety and quality standards
Assist with stock rotation and replenishment activities
Keep warehouse areas clean, organised, and safe
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Essential
Good physical fitness and ability to safely lift and move stock
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills for warehouse and inventory systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and organisational skills
Preferred
Previous warehouse, logistics, or storeperson experience
Forklift licence and operating experience
Understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
Experience in FMCG, food, or beverage environments
