We specialise in infrastructure construction with a strong focus on reinforced concrete. Our current projects span a wide range, including bridges, wharves, water treatment plants, storage tanks, and pipelines.

Right now, we are seeking for a Structures Foreman with heavy civil and structures experience to join us in Auckland.

This is a site-based role suited to someone who comes from a strong heavy civil structures background and has led complex reinforced concrete works on major infrastructure projects.

In the role

You will drive structural construction activities across a diverse portfolio of projects including:

  • Large bridge structures ($50m+)

  • Wastewater treatment structures

  • Reservoirs and storage tanks

  • Pump stations and underground structures

  • Rail structural works

  • Retaining structures and associated civil infrastructure

If you have solid experience in bridges and reservoirs including reinforced concrete – we would like to see your application – Let’s Talk!

You’ll be on the ground each day leading a crew to safely build bridges, retaining walls and other structures. You’ll organise people, plant and materials, keep an eye on quality and productivity, and work closely with engineers and supervisors to solve problems as they pop up. It’s a hands‑on role where you’ll still be out on the tools at times.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Drive and coordinate day‑to‑day activities of the site crew and subcontractors on structural works.

  • Lead and coordinate a structures crew to deliver day‑to‑day site activities safely and efficiently.

  • Oversee reinforced concrete, precast and structural steel work to drawings and specifications.

  • Organise plant, materials and subcontractors so work fronts are ready and running smoothly.

  • Monitor quality, safety and productivity, completing basic checks and paperwork as required.

  • Work closely with Site Engineers and Supervisors to plan upcoming work and resolve issues.

  • Support and coach team members, helping to build a strong, down‑to‑earth, high‑performing crew

  • Report progress, issues, and needs to the Supervisor.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Structure Foreman, with reinforced concrete and structural steel experience.

  • Minimum 8 years in a Civil Construction in structural areas including bridge building civil structures or commercial building utilising concrete, precast and structural steel valued at over (10M+).

  • Good understanding of structural concrete construction methodologies including:

    • Formwork systems

    • Falsework and temporary works

    • Reinforcement installation

    • Concrete placement and pour sequencing

    • Precast installation

    • Structural steel erection

  • Hands‑on background with reinforced concrete and structural steel on active construction sites.

  • Previous experience leading or coordinating a small crew in a similar environment.

  • A practical understanding of site safety, quality and basic set‑out/reading plans.

  • A collaborative, straight‑up approach – you’re comfortable leading from the front and working alongside the team.
