Fresh departments are the foundation of every supermarket offer and the key to creating great experiences for our customers.

At PAk'nSAVE we are looking for a Fresh Foods assistant, to join the Butchery, Seafood and Produce team.

This unique role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering great customer experiences and is looking to develop their retail knowledge and technical skills, in a warm and friendly team environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the shop is full and appealing throughout the hours of trade (includes cutting of meat, seafood and produce, with full training provided)
• Ensure product range, quality and pricing/promotional mix is tailored to the season and our community's needs.
• Work along the Department manager and making sure the key areas are looked after.
• Meet food safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, qualities & skills:

• Calm under pressure.
• Multitasking, working without supervision, and walk the talk will be your primary attributes.
• Not afraid of physical work.
• A willingness to learn.
• A positive, friendly, can-do attitude
