Job Description
We’re looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join our software team and help design, build and enhance high-quality applications from front end through to back end. This role is based in Pukekohe, a proportion of the work can be done remotely.
Reporting to the Software Team Lead, you’ll work alongside developers, technical designers, product managers and other specialists to take features from concept through to delivery. This is a hands-on development role where you’ll have the opportunity to work across the full technology stack while continuing to build your skills and experience. Working with developers, product managers and other specialists, you’ll help design and deliver quality software solutions from concept through to release. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop front-end and back-end applications.
- Build and maintain APIs, databases and application services.
- Create responsive, user-friendly solutions across desktop and mobile.
- Test, troubleshoot and improve application performance.
- Collaborate with the wider team to turn requirements into practical software solutions.
- Contribute to application security, technical documentation and development best practice.
- Keep up to date with emerging technologies and development practices
Qualifications
You’ll be a collaborative, hands-on developer who enjoys working across the full stack, solving problems and delivering quality solutions. You’ll also be a strong team player with good attention to detail, a willingness to share knowledge and an appetite to keep learning and developing your skills. You’ll bring experience with:
- C# and ASP.NET Core / Web APIs
- MS SQL Server and/or SQLite
- HTML, TypeScript and CSS
- Git source control
- Front-end and back-end application development
- Responsive and mobile-friendly design
- Testing, troubleshooting and debugging
