Currently we have 25 locations nationwide, employing over 1800 staff and providing professional aged care for more than 1700 residents. Location: Radius Karori Care, 29 Messines Rd, Karori, Wellington

Hours of work Role 1: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, working night shifts mainly

Hours of work Role 2: Part-time, 18 hours per week

Pay rate: Subject to completed, recognized caregiving qualifications

About the role:

Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.

Duties include:

  • Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence

  • Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner

  • Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information

  • Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records

  • Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes
