Full job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking 2 creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designers to join our media team. In this role, you will create engaging visual content for print and digital news platforms of our charity, helping to communicate stories, information and brand messages effectively to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and produce visual content, graphics, layouts and artwork for print and digital news publications, websites and social media platforms.
  • Design page layouts, infographics, illustrations and other visual materials that enhance editorial content and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with editors, journalists and stakeholders to determine design requirements and develop creative solutions that meet editorial and business objectives.
  • Prepare design concepts, artwork and production-ready files in accordance with publishing and branding standards.
  • Maintain consistency of visual identity, branding and presentation across all platforms and publications.
  • Select appropriate design elements, typography, images and media to effectively communicate information to target audiences.
  • Coordinate with production and publishing teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality visual content.
  • Manage and maintain digital design assets, templates and archives for ongoing organisational use.
  • Keep up to date with design trends, publishing technologies and industry best practices.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Journalism, Media, Communications, or a related field

AND

  • At least 5 years relevant work experience.

Pay: Up to $23.95 per hour
